Cameras
There’s an old photography saying, “the best camera is the one you have with you.” We fully support and believe in that sentiment. Polaroid, 35mm film, disposable, digital point and shoot, DSLR, mirrorless, action camera, or heck, even your smart phone. Whatever you have on you is good enough, I promise. But, if you are looking for some recommendations, here’s our favorite cameras to use.
Canon R6
Our main rig. It is relatively small but packs a big, full-frame punch. It takes great photos, fantastic video, and has auto-focus features second to none.

GoPro 10 and 11
When you think of action cameras, you think of one name - GoPro. We have both a GoPro 10 and an 11. They are both fantastic. Silky smooth stabilization. 4k video at 120 fps. Vivid colors. Surprisingly good sound straight from the camera.

Insta360 One X2
Sometimes, you just need to tell your story from a different perspective, and that’s where this camera comes in. The only thing limiting your shot with these cameras is your imagination. While we love the X2, we do recommend going for the X3, which is linked below.

Sony ZV-1
When we want a little more control over the shot but do not want to lug around the main rig, this is our go-to camera. This little beauty packs a serious punch.
